Belco Avia accessed European investment projects that led to the diversification of production:
- improving productive processes through innovation in the technological flow(acquisition of tangible and intangible assets)
- improving the quality of the environment and increasing energy efficiency
- creating new jobs
Belco Avia benefited from a Partnership for knowledge transfer with the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca for:
- industrial research and experimental development activity for electrical equipment of an electric car and
- design of the mechanical structure of a two-seater urban electric vehicle, using advanced composite materials.
Belco Avia is also the beneficiary of the project “Research, design and development of environmentally friendly electric vehicles made of advanced composite materials, equipped with photovoltaic panels and the construction of an assembly line to obtain the final product”, SMIS code 136062, funded through the Regional Operational Program 2014-2020, Priority Axis 1 – Promoting technology transfer, Specific Objective 1.2 – Increasing innovation in companies by supporting multisectoral approaches resulting from the implementation of the “Less Developed Regions Initiative” in Romania, Project Call no. FOR / 2019/1 / 1.1 / YOU 1.2 / 1.
